Anything you can Imagine!

Our mind is a wonderful playground if we let our imaginations run wild, because our thoughts can bring to life "Anything you can Imagine!" I was visiting at our relative's house on Father's Day and the subject of visiting New York City came up. I was amazed that everyone was saying, "What a great place to see and visit that New York City is, and they couldn't wait to go there again." Today is the anniversary of the Statue of Liberty: "The Statue arrived in New York Harbor on June 17, 1885 on board the French frigate Isère."

I have never really thought of visiting New York City before, because I don't like crowds. After hearing everyone saying what a great experience they had visiting the city I have changed my mind. I would love to visit the Statue of Liberty and in fact all the National Monuments in the United States. I don't have the finances to be able to afford actually achieving that dream at this moment, but with a little imagination I could visualize myself visiting all those beautiful sites.

The reason I am writing about this today is I clicked on an advertisement that was showing here on my Windows Live Spaces. I love Disney's theme parks the feeling that anything is possible if we only use our imagination. When I visited Disney World I can't even describe the magical feeling that came over me while I was there...It was like being a kid again: All my dreams and anything that I could imagine could come true.

The thought that anything is possible reminds me of The Secret and how our thoughts control our lives and that the Universe is ready willing and able to give us what we desire in life if we will open up our minds to the endless possibilities of the Source. I hope that you have enjoyed this little trip that I have taken all of you on today because the possibilities are endless if we can only use our minds and imagine!

I'm A Dreamer!

One year ago today: Is the anniversary of my Secret Check, and I want to celebrate because "I'm A Dreamer!" Learning about The Secret has changed my life and my way of thinking. I use to be plagued by negative thoughts, and I still struggle with that type of thinking, but learning about The Secret and the Law of Attraction has given me hope.

This verse of scripture from the Bible is very meaningful to me:
Mark 11:22-25
"Havefaith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."

"Believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

This is from Wikipedia: The Secret: Lists three required steps — "ask, believe, receive" — as the essence of the Law of Attraction: The steps:

Ask: Know what you want and ask the universe for it. This is where you need to get clear on what it is you want to create and visualize what you want as being as 'real' as possible.
Believe: Feel and behave as if the object of your desire is on its way. Focus your thoughts and your language on what it is you want to attract. You want to feel the feeling of really 'knowing' that what you desire is on its way to you, even if you have to trick yourself into believing it – do it.
Receive: Be open to receiving it. Pay attention to your intuitive messages, synchronicities, signs from the Universe to help you along the way as assurance you are on the 'right' path. As you align yourself with the Universe and open yourself up to receiving, the very thing you are wanting to manifest will show up.

Today's entry is going to be another visualization board for me, much like this entry: What do You Daydream About? I wrote this entry about two weeks before I had even heard about The Secret. I think that's quite a coincidence, don't you?

I don't look at The Secret as my religion; I look at it as renewing my faith in God the Creator and Master of the Universe. The fact that it helps me with my thinking, and makes me to feel better about my life and gives me hope, is just a reward for believing in God.

My Anniversary of The Secret!

One year ago today I found out about The Secret and it has changed my life, which is why I am titling today's writing, "My Anniversary of The Secret!" I have never been able to replicate the exuberance that I felt on this day one year ago again, but I want to offer you the possibility of having that feeling for yourself. You can watch The Secret Movie on line for yourself and decided if The Law of Attraction is something that you can believe in or not!

This is what I have written about The Secret since I first heard about it, and I don't consider myself an expert by any means. If you are interested in learning more about The Secret do an Internet search and you can find a vast amount of information available to you. I have received so many hits on my website regarding My Secret Check and I want to display it here again today as a reminder: (Click here to see check)

I really appreciate all the interest in this check and you can make one for yourself (click here). The one year anniversary for my check is just around the corner, and visualizing your dreams and desires is what it's all about. You may think that this is all a bunch of nonsense, but to me it is hope!

What You Desire

Wow, I really like that camera, and it reminds me to visualize "What You Desire" some of you maybe thinking, What's he talking about? I will tell you, "It's about The Secret and the Law of Attraction" and how you can visualize the things that you desire to miraculously manifest them into your life. Yeah, I know it sounds like science fiction, but I really believe in this universal law, it can't be scientifically proven, but neither can a lot of things that happen everyday.

It just so happens that I am trying to use the Law of Attraction to visualize this Pentax digital camera into my life. I would be very grateful and appreciative if the universe were to change my desire to this Canon digital camera. The reason I chose the Pentax camera is because I think that the lenses that I now have for my old camera would be interchangeable with this one. I certainly wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth though, and tell the universe to take it back because I desire this other one.

Then I think; What do I really need a new camera for anyway? It might get me out of the house to explore the awesome wonders of the world that I will never see sitting in this chair in my living room. Or am I just using the camera as an excuse to just sit here and type this story. When there is a world of endless possibilities out there of other things that I could be doing, but am not.

Well that's what I get when I "Write the first thing that comes to mind when you see this photo" and I want to Thank the Write Stuff for providing this Picture This writing prompt for me today. Some of you maybe wondering why I am even posting this story, and I think this answers your question:

I could probably spend hours editing, rewording, pondering or just daydreaming about this picture, but I am going to just publish this, and see what else I can explore today.

Optimism vs Pessimism

I have always had a pessimistic attitude; quite frankly, I haven't liked it much, and I have been trying to change my behavior to have a more optimistic attitude, that's why I chose the title "Optimism vs Pessimism" today. I used Search my Blog and found this entry: A Blog Article? What a coincidence; in that entry I said, "For me it’s trying to be something that I am not, a writer," and only yesterday I wrote Today I am a Writer! I have already questioned why I even said that yesterday, because it is given me a mental block with writing, like I have some kind of standard I have to achieve now. Oh, brother!

The perception "Is the glass half empty or half full?" Made me think I would rather have the glass half full; someone else can have the empty part. And the Law of Attraction has really helped me in changing my way of thinking; we attract into our lives what we think. The negative or pessimistic thoughts send out a vibration into the universe, and more of the same kinds of thoughts are then returned to your mind. Creating a vicious circle of thoughts that make you feel bad, which is not the way I want to feel, for sure.

The reason I am writing this, is because so many people have told me that they have tried using the law, and it didn't work for them. I just say, "Everyone is different though, just because I get relief from using the law, doesn't mean that I think that it will work for you." Although all the experts on the law say that it is a universal law, and works for everyone. I can only speak for myself when I say, "Using the Law of Attraction has helped me immensely, to change my way of thinking." Whenever I think about this subject, Optimism vs Pessimism, I am reminded of The Little Engine That Could, and I will leave you'll with me say, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can," as I go chugging over the top of the hill!

	Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. Albert Einstein I love this quote: It reminds me of The Law of Attraction we become what we think. The thought anything we can imagine can be visualized into our lives and is a preview of Life's coming attractions. Is an inspiration for me to expand my way of thinking into a belief anything is possible and miracles are real! The Law of Attraction

It must be "The Law of Attraction" inspiring me to write again today. I wrote that new car smell in an earlier post today and it has fired off a need to try and write about the attraction. Well, it was that and several other things, and I will try to fill you in. I can't even explain the excitement I am feeling right now, just thinking about, The Law of Attraction. It gives me hope in the future; knowing that God the Creator of all things is in control of my life and the Universe is ready to respond to my vibrations. We are the Champions

I was listening to Yahoo radio this morning and "We are the Champions" by Queen was playing, the song took on a new meaning for me today and that's what I want to write about. For some reason the song was like an affirmation to me and I hadn't really thought of it that way before. The song became a way of thinking to me, like when Joel Osteen says, "You are a Victor not a Victim!" It's about The Secret or the Law of Attraction and me trying to write my thoughts in my Blog, so that if you are reading this you might actually understand what I am talking about.

I usually only write on average about 250 words per entry so sometimes it's hard to squeeze all the pertinent information that I am talking about in on one entry. I am trying to learn how to write by writing, I liked this article: Writing Blog Posts it's very good with a lot of information and a great help, even for the short entries that I do in my Blog. Maybe if I continue to practice writing I will be able to make longer post but, for right now, it's just getting some thoughts on the page.

Yesterday I wrote these Anti-Resolutions and one of them was this: I will not be participating in A Complaint Free World or wearing a purple bracelet, like Andy Rooney said (see video) on 60 minutes, "If I didn't complain I would be out of business." And I wanted to make it clear that I really liked the book and the connections behind the book on the Law of Attraction, I am just not going to wear the bracelet, but I am going to practice this way of thinking.

As usual I've gotten side tracked with what I was going to say today and that is: We attract into our lives what we think about, so it only makes sense to think positive thoughts (like I am a champion of the world) and if everyone could have these kinds of positive thoughts we could change the world. Making this a better world for everyone on the planet!

It's New Year's Eve

It's hard to believe that the year 2007 will be history in a few short hours but indeed "It's New Year's Eve" and I am very nostalgic about what I have accomplished this year. I have the topic of antonyms in mind today, I was going to use the word contrast in life but I feel it needs too much of an explanation to use. It's no secret that I have a problem with negative thoughts and I am working on trying to change that by reading books and practicing meditation. You know clear your mind and let the thoughts go, become one with the Universe and your thoughts can change the world.

I learned about The Secret this year and the Law of Attraction it has helped me immensely with changing my negative thoughts to more positive ones. I just finished reading A Complaint Free World and it talks about the Law of Attraction and how the more we complain about everything the more we are attracting more to complain about into our lives. That reminds me of The Ghostbusters II movie and the river of slime that was flowing under New York spreading evil by saying and thinking evil thoughts to promote more of the same.

Our thoughts create how we feel and if we feel good in our lives, we can change the way we think, for the better, we can all have betters lives. It sounds so simple but yet I believe that it is true, it all comes down to having faith in God and believing that God has good things in store for your life! I am going to achieve my goal this year: To have a zest for life! I am going to do that by finding new interests in life and by finding what excites me in life it will give my life purpose.

Cell Phone Picture

This is a little experiment to see how my Motorola RAZR V3 "Cell Phone Picture" will look in my Blog. I thought that the picture looks a little dark, but its overcast here today, and that the colors didn't look very good. That could be because of the lack of light though, so I'll have to try again, on a sunny day.

There's more to this picture, than just the picture though, and it has to do with The Secret and visualizing your desires. Tomorrows my birthday and I have wanted a digital camera, how's the Universe going to know what it is that I desire, until I show it, and pick a camera! Without spending a lot of time looking for something that I don't know that much about anyway, this camera seemed perfect for me: Pentax K100D Super Review.

I don't really need a camera, I have a perfectly good old 35mm camera, the reason I want a new camera is because I hate waiting to get the film developed to see the picture. What year is it? Oh, yeah! It's 2007 and the camera that I have is from 1979 and it's been a great camera, but it being over 25 years old, makes it an antique. I have several lenses for my old Sears camera and according to this Pentax video they might even work with the new camera and that's great. Me talking about a "Cell Phone Picture" and a whole lot more!

The Secret: Experience Project

I wrote "The Secret: Experience Project" today because I wanted a story to tell in the two groups that I joined:

Have you heard about The Secret? I first heard about The Secret on April 26, 2007 and if you haven't heard about it do an Internet search on "The Secret" or "The Law of Attraction" because it has changed my Life. I feel that believing in and practicing this new way of thinking has been a turning point in my life.

I have watched "The Secret Movie" and I highly recommend that you watch it too; it could change your Life. By reading several books The Secret, The Law of Attraction, Ask and It Is Given and by studying articles about this new way of thought I have changed my negative way of thinking into a more faithful and powerful way of Positive Thinking.

From the cover of the book The Secret: "Fragments of a Great Secret have been found in oral traditions, in literature, in religions and philosophies throughout the centuries."

The power of The Law of Attraction: What you think about and really focus your thoughts on is what you attracted into your Life.

I believe that God's the Creator of the Universe and that The Law of Attraction is God's will being done in our lives by Him showing His favor on us. Is it that I don't understand that God and the Universe are One connected to all living things by some unknown link? Or by His Holy Spirit? I feel it is God's love that connects everything as One unto Him. I am going to continue to have faith in God and His control over the Universe.

The Secret: Technology

The amazing thing about inspiration for writing something is I never know where it's going to come from, like today "The Secret: Technology." I was reading an Email from wxpnews and this article: inspired me to write this review that could have been the end of the story. I could have put the review in my Blog and called that my entry for today and been done with writing for today.

I wanted to tell you about two things that have happened to me; regarding The Secret, the Law of Attraction and if you haven't heard about what I am talking about watch the Movie. I am reading a new book and visualizing your desires is part of the manifestation process of making the Law of Attraction work for you, I know it sounds strange but let me tell you what happened to me.

I desired a RAZR cell phone since they started selling them (The way people wanted the iPhone) the only thing was I couldn't afford one. My wife was on the AT&T wireless page and they had a special on the RAZR for free with a mail in rebate and she order one for me, today the price is $49.99 with the rebate. My other desire, that some how miraculously manifested in my life was an iPod and this is from my Blog entry: " I received an Apple iPod nano as a complimentary gift from one of the local business establishments in the area and I have been loading some of my CDs into iTunes."

Call it a coincidence, call it Luck, call it whatever you want; I believe it was the Law of Attraction and the visualization of my desires. What I associate the Law of Attraction with is God's way of communicating His will to us and allowing us to have the things that we desire. Now I don't expect you to believe that I can actually visualize things into my life but I am visualizing this check as I am writing this from this entry. Me writing about "The Secret: Technology."

Your Wish is my Command!

Haven't you always wanted a Genie/Jeannie to appear out of a lamp/bottle and say, "Your Wish is my Command!" What is it that you truly desire? We all have wishes, prayers, hopes, dreams and goals that we want to come true in our lives, but is it wrong to wish for things that are not God's will for us to have. It all starts out innocent enough with, "OK, Billy make a wish and blow out the candles on your birthday cake." It has so much to do with using your imagination; if you think about something long enough and often enough, you can visualize it into your life as in The Secret.

I thought that it was quite a coincidence when Bobby had this MeMe on his Blog today because the [Fiction] Friday theme for this week is: "A character gets three wishes..." And I thought for sure someone will write about a Genie granting those three wishes. We will have to wait until tomorrow to see if I am right or not. I would have copied the MeMe on my page today but I felt like it isn't really much fun doing a MeMe if the other people that you tag can't comment on your Blog. I really like doing the Fiction Friday MeMe even though other people can't comment on my Blog because of the Windows Live ID Sign In requirement.

I also thought that I don't need any special request in order to make a wish, do I? It doesn't have to be my birthday? I don't have to wish on a falling star? To be tagged on a MeMe? God is always there to answer prayers that I have. My wish is to Enjoy Life!

A good Reader

I am running late with getting my Blog entry in today, it was a very busy day for me but I wanted to write something. I read this article today; On Reading and Writing and I liked the way it was written although I don't know if I can answer the question; How do you define a good reader? I put the question on Live QnA but it only has one response so far, I hope that more people will try to answer the question. I feel that it's a very good question and I am sure that someone who knows a lot about reading and writing could answer it.

I don't consider myself a good reader and the reason that I say that is I don't like to read, although the book I am reading right now; The Law of Attraction has me completely fascinated with how our thoughts control our emotions and how we attract what we think about into our Lives. It might not be the kind of book that you would like but I am Loving reading about how I could get control over my negative thinking by changing the way that I think. I have not finished reading the book but I would recommend it to anyone who feels that they aren't getting what they want out of Life.

I was so surprised today when I read this today, "By reaching for the best feeling thought you can find, you reconnect with that perspective, and you will shiver with exhilaration as you reconnect with your purpose, with your zest for life, and with you!" The reason I was surprised is this is from my profile; My Life Goal is to have a Zest for Life and it was like seeing my own thoughts on the page.

I would define a good reader as one who enjoys reading, is good at comprehending what they read and retain what they think is important about the information that they're reading. A good vocabulary would be important for them to be a good reader and if they didn't know a word, take the time to look it up in the dictionary and that is coming from a person who considers himself a poor reader and writer. Me trying hard to learn how to become, "A good Reader."

What about the Unknown?

I always like reading information about the "Known" but "What about the Unknown?" There's so much about how our thoughts control what actually happens in our World and yet there's really no way of actually verifying this information. Do any of you ever wonder what's really going on? Do you believe in the Law of Attraction? Or is it God's way of communicating His will to us?

Undeniably, don't we all want to feel good about ourselves and what we're doing to help other's that are less fortunate than ourselves. To think that it could be accomplished by our thoughts is really almost unimaginable but is it really? Is it that we don't understand how the Universe and God are One connected to all living things by some unknown link? Or is it by thoughts and prayers? If you were to try and explain the Internet to someone one hundred years ago they would have put you away so you wouldn't hurt anyone.

You probably think that I have lost my mind and that might be true but it doesn't change the fact that things happen that are completely unexplainable. When I take one of those personality test like this one; Personality Test the results of my test are I am an INFP - The "Dreamer" and after writing this I sure feel like one. Me saying, "What about the Unknown?"

It's Not always Clear

In the"Mystical Ways of God" or in "Law of Attraction" and in the unknown workings of the Universe, it's not always clear the infinite possibilities that can change our World and our lives. I am always trying to figure out how the connections are made and exactly how everything falls into place in this thing called Life.

Maybe that is why "The Secret" has helped me to realize that I don't have to understand how everything works, and the three steps that you use are very easy to understand, so I shouldn't be making it difficult.

Step #1. Asking, in the book they say asking the Universe, I believe that God's the Creator of the Universe, so God's the One I will be asking. The next thing is, to get it clear in your mind what it is you are asking for, I guess here is where I have a little trouble, I mean really the only thing that I can think of that is important to me on this Earth is Happiness.

Step #2. Believing, having Faith that Happiness is something that I can have by acting, thinking and speaking as though I have already received Happiness. When I am emitting the frequency that I have already received Happiness, the Law of Attraction moves people, events and circumstances for you to receive.

Step #3. Receiving involves feeling, Happy, the way you will feel once Happiness has manifested. Feel good now puts you on the frequency of Happiness now.

I think that is very clear, and it's not like it's the first time I have heard that either, you know, Don't Worry Be Happy video says the same thing. How many times have you heard Put On A Happy Face the video isn't that great but the song is, don't you think? Me thinking, "It's Not always Clear."

I have been watching "The Secret Movie" and practicing "The Law of Attraction" to see what the Universe and God the creator of the Universe have determined to be my Destiny and I can't wait to find out. One of the powerful processes is visualization, you visualize by focusing your thoughts through pictures and it causes powerful feelings, your feelings are then emitting powerful frequencies out into the Universe. The law of attraction will take those frequencies (signals) and sends them back to you just as your mind had pictured them.

This is not something that should be hard for you, this should be fun, and one of the fun things you're to do to help you with the visualization process is to write out a check to yourself. I wrote "What do You Daydream About?" long before I watched The Secret but I think that it fits right in with the whole visualization theme very nice, don't you? I made my check out for more than I will ever need but why not it's from the Universal Bank (Un)Limited; Where Your Wish is My Command. I was thinking I should have made it for a Billion dollars, but what the heck, I can always write another check.

I can't help but think that I am full filling something that I wanted to do the other day went I wrote this; One of those Days and I believe I have really put my imagination to work for me today and I am loving it! I liked this article; HOW TO MASTER LIFE: The Science Behind “The Secret” especially this part, "Jesus tried to spread the word because he apparently believed widespread knowledge of the Law would make the world a better place and usher in “The Kingdom of Heaven.” Though some Christians may not yet be aware, an informed reading of the New Testament will make it clear Jesus preached The Secret constantly and openly -- “All things are possible for him who believes” -- and he practiced it as expertly as anyone before or since, if the New Testament miracles are taken as evidence."

I hope that you too can learn the power of The Secret and open up the World to "The Kingdom of Heaven" and May God Bless us all, each and every one of us. Me visualizing with, "The Secret Check."

The Secret Link

Although my link to this article; Positive Thoughts was only on their site; Good Things Happen To Me for a few hours I can't help but wonder if it wasn't the mystical power of God, The Universe, The Law of Attraction or for whatever reason that it happened, it did and I want to write about it today. I feel that my article just wasn't good enough for them to keep it on their site, I read some of the other articles and I thought that what they wrote was much better than mine.

But that hasn't stopped me from believing that the power of positive thinking, The Secret, God's will and The Law of Attraction has let me down, far from it. I feel that all the positive thoughts that I have been feeling have only started to work in my life and I am going to continue to have faith in God and His control over the Universe.

Although I wanted this article to have more power to it by having the link to my article on their web site. Now that the link is gone, I have no proof that it was ever there, I know that it was and it made me feel like the Universe is receptive to my positive thoughts.

Today I found out about "The Secret" have you heard about it? How come you didn't tell me? I get this Email today from Knowth, in my StumbleUpon site, evidently I had Stumbled Upon his site; This is the Email he sent me;

Thanks for dropping by, have you heard of "The Secret" movie? The movie was inspired by the book 'The Science of Getting Rich', the book is out of copyright, so I have put it online.

I Loved my Macintosh, I just can't afford to buy a new one, I still have my old one in the utility room as a collectors item. I Love the new commercials that Apple has on T.V. they are so hilarious. I would like a new Apple computer but I would like a new Viper sports car, too, very unlikely I will have either, laughing with a big smile on my face.

But I don't know that for sure, I feel like this could be a turning point in my life. I have watched "The Secret Movie" and I highly recommend that you watch it too. It could change your life, as I feel it will change mine. Watch the movie, click on the links above, read the book and have faith in the power of Positive Thinking. And the power of "Attraction" what you think is what you get.

I can't Thank You enough Michael for telling me about "The Secret" today. It could change my life and I hope that it does. I am publishing this in my Blog today in hopes that the world will read the book and watch the movie. "The Secret" could change the world if people would only change the way that they think.
