Wicked's: The Emperor's New Clothes!

Wicked's anxiety attack had him in such a state that he couldn't breathe, but he just has to let it all out and tell you about what is on his mind. I am sure that you all have heard about the tale of The Emperor's New Clothes! Wicked knows the story far too well, and he can't believe some of tales he hears, but he still wants to share them with you. Writing stories on the Internet can be a lot of fun, but sometimes you have to use the technology available to you to get your message or story told.

The fist tale that Wicked wants to share is about: Water Fuel! Can you imagine that this technology is available today, but yet every night on the news they are constantly complaining about the $4.10 national average price for gasoline? Is the Emperor wearing clothes or not? Have people become so gullible that we will fall for any story that we hear? If this is really true why isn't it available? Could it have something to do with creating or own misery?

Just think about it for a minute: Look at how the price of fuel is taxed, and how many big corporations would be out of business if water could really be used for fuel. Is it a coincidence that this technology hasn't made it to the consumer leave? Wicked doesn't think so, and how many other things this does our government not want us to know about?

Switzerland gets 39.9% of it electrical power from nuclear power plants, but yet the United States is still burning coal, and creating global warming: What's that all about? Wicked's a believer in the Law of Attraction, but yet he's so tired of listening to all the negativity that is on TV and in the news, doesn't everyone know that this kind of thinking just attracts more negativity?

Wicked wants to apologize to everyone for all his ranting and raving today with his story. Do you still think that the Emperor's wearing clothes?

This Week’s Theme: Use Intaglio: Without looking it up, use the word Intaglio in your [Fiction] Friday entry.

Wicked's Intaglio

Wicked has so many intaglios that he doesn't know what to do about them all. One of his intaglios is he doesn't like even numbers, the numbers that end in zeros are OK, but if he has a choice in the matter the number he will select to use is going to be an odd number ever time. This type of psychological condition is associated with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and it has been brought to light in the TV series Monk.

Wicked is having an anxiety attack right at the moment because part of having (OCD) is being a perfectionist about everything. So telling this story without knowing the meaning of intaglio is driving him nuts. Every day occurrences are a nightmare for Wicked and it was just two weeks ago that he told us about: Wicked's Obsession with Passion. He's not only obsessed with Passion but almost everything else that happens to him in life.

Wicked doesn't like letting anyone know that he has this condition so you can imagine what he thought when Junior Mint aka Square1 left this comment on Wicked's Hobby, "Wow! Who would have guessed Wicked has OCD? LOL! Great job once again." Even though the comment was left in fun, little did she know that she had exposed Wicked's disorder and was right on the money with her diagnosis.

Wicked is yelling and screaming now, "I have to know what intaglio means, I just can't stand it anymore. I have to lookup the word!" Intaglio: a carving made by cutting a hollowed-out design in material such as stone. Wicked's think, Maybe I wasn't so far off with my interpretation of the word. This (OCD) is carved into my personality just like having it carved out into stone!

This Week’s Theme: Sketch out a character with wildly bad luck. Make it a character you like, as we will use her again.

Friday the 13th

This story is going to be in first person: In Wicked's own words.

I don't know how anyone could have more wildly bad luck than Passion and I. Partly because of the story was told last week in: Wicked's Obsession between the desire of my heart the love of my life, the woman Passion. What better day than Friday the 13th to be talking about bad luck and what I want to try and do with today's story is incorporate the virtual world, the fictional world and the real world.

Those of you that read the stories that Jeff writes about me are familiar with his website: My Unique Life in Windows Live Space (WLS). Jeff has a very low self esteem regarding his writing ability in fact this is what he has recently said about him being a writer, "I consider myself a writer only by default: Because I am writing this and you are reading it, then I guess that makes me a writer."

What I am trying to accomplish here today with my writing is to invite you all to a virtual event. Now I am writing this on Thursday so that I will be able to post it on the Write Anything Fiction Friday page tomorrow morning. Those of you who have read any of my previous writing know that the way that I try and communicate my thoughts into writing, leaves a lot to be desired.

The long drawn out run on sentences that I use are just the way that I write. I have become a member of the Clubhouse here in (WLS) and this week's challenge is to write about the events feature. I am going to write that entry next after I save this story. Passion and I want to invite you to a virtual event today. I don't how that feature works here in (WLS) but I am going to try and send you all an invitation to our Friday the 13th event. I hope that you will be able to make it to this virtual party, see you all there!

I have a feeling that I have really lost it with my writing today, but what I am going to write next is this week's Challenge from the Clubhouse to write about the events feature. I am not only going to write about it, I am going to send out the invitations to a virtual Friday the 13th event!

Wicked's Obsession

Wicked has a lot of obsessions but to choose just one he'd have to choose Passion. She's the desire of his heart and is a never to be satisfied woman. Passion's emotions are intense and sometimes her love, joy, hatred or anger can be devastating to Wicked's ego. The intense desire for the emotional, spiritual and physical desires of Passion are what inspire Wicked in life and make his heart soar with delight.

What would life be without Passion but the empty uninspired existence of living in a world of the mundane, were one's daily activity is just going through the motions of life without meaning. To feel Passion's exuberance rushing through your body is such an exhilarating experience: How could anyone live without her? Just like any other person, though, there is a good side of Passion and a bad.

To feel Passion's desire and to be inspired by her...love, her powerful sexuality; her intense enthusiasm for life is the very essence of the word and the meaning of life itself. With all that Passion has to offer on this fairytale side of her she's not without her dark side that we all are very familiar with: Her jealousy, her hatred and her rage which can make your life feel as though it's not worth living.

The balance is in our consciousness and being aware of both sides of Passion's emotions the good and the bad. We have choices to make everyday in our lives: There in lies the meaning between happiness and sorrow!

Wicked's Altered States

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for May 30, 2008: This Week’s Theme: Altered States: Drunk on _________. Fill in the blank, then write a quick description of your character in that state. Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) Wicked's Altered States Wicked is drunk on confusion: That state of mind where nothing makes any sense and it's caused by emotional trauma. Wicked talked a little bit about some of the emotional turmoil with his thoughts on ego last week. Being in such an altered state of consciousness, where your thoughts aren't your own and you're struggling with reality is the emotional intoxication that's overwhelming him and he's impaired by the emotional conflict of his own thoughts and mind. Along with all the other voices that he's listening to in his mind like his ego, his subconscious and whatever else all those emotionally traumatizing voices that he hears has to say about whatever he's thinking, Wicked never knows when Gabriel (the non physical being) that communicates with him telepathically in his mind is going to come along and try to help him deal with his constant bewilderment of the unknown and how he's going to deal with the realities of his life. Wicked can best describe this state of consciousness as a computer that has had its hard drive damaged and it has lost its data. The computer (an analogy of Wicked's mind) is still constantly searching its memory (or his mind) with the lights flashing like it's really working, but in reality it's just not going to find the information that it's looking for because the disk has been fragmented and the data is corrupt. A mind is a terrible thing to waste: If only a mind could be replaced like a hard drive on a computer and then all the memories replaced with a CD and all the data restored, but alas that cannot be. Wicked has found that the best way of dealing with this type of alter state of consciousness is by meditation. To "Just Be" letting these unanswerable questions go unanswered and do the best you can with the only mind you have and make peace with yourself! Thanks for Listening, Jeff

Wicked's thoughts on Ego

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for May 23, 2008: This Week’s Theme: Conspinkey: Don't look that word up, because it doesn't exist. But you're going to use it in your entry. Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) Wicked's thoughts on Ego The word conspinkey does exist and no sooner is a word written about and it has meaning: It's already someone's name Mr. Conspinkey. Like some virus this new word is going to be spread all over the Internet. With everyone writing about "Conspinkey" it won't be long now and this new word will have a lot of other meanings. It's like waiting for the arrival of a new book to see where your imagination is going to take this new word "Conspinkey". Wicked was thinking that's how it goes with our thoughts and our minds, too! We imagine something a thought, and we are unable to let the thought pass through our mind, and we give it meaning. We dwell on this thought not even realizing that we are creating something out of nothing, it was just a thought. Our ego is just such a case in point: A thought it has no identity but we let it take over our minds and rule our lives. We seldom question where our ego is taking us with its constant need to be fed with an identity. The things that we think we need in order to "be somebody" are all formed in our ego and they are just a thought, but we listen. Our ego tells us that we need that new car, that new house, that new whatever it is that you think that you desire in your heart. In reality it is just our ego with its constant need for more, more, more and until we realize that it is just a thought and confront this unsatisfiable ego beast we will be in constant turmoil with ourselves. Just like cospinkey is not a real word only if we make it so, confronting our own ego and making it part of our consciousness is the only way of dealing with this kind of thought that has no identity unless we give it one. Wicked's Fairy Tale!

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for May 16, 2008: This Week’s Theme: Something Old, Something New: Pick a favorite fairy tale or legend. Now briefly describe how you could update it to the modern day. Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) Wicked's Fairy Tale! Once upon a time in a place called the Earth there lived a troubled middle aged man by the name of Wicked. His life wasn't turning out as he had planned, but it was very fortunate for him that his life was going to miraculously change. Wicked had tried everything to get his life on track, but it wasn't until he met Gabriel (a non-physical being) and learned about The Secret and the Law of Attraction that was finally going to change his outlook on life. Gabriel is a spirit and he communicates with Wicked telepathically through his mind, and Gabriel knows all about the universal law, and wants to help Wicked to be able to visualize the life he wants into reality. This story sounds a lot like Aladdin's Lamp, but Wicked's no Aladdin and Gabriel's no Genie. This is a modern day reality that most people are unaware of and may think that it's science fiction, but be assured that this is very real and is taking place at this very moment in the universe, whether you believe in it or not. Gabriel explains it this way, "Our thoughts create our reality, so what you're thinking about in your mind becomes your reality. The universe materializes into your life that which you're sending out on a vibrational level with your thoughts back to you and it becomes what you desire in your life." The universal law is really a very simple three step process of ask, believe and receive. This story is no different than the ancient legend of the Aladdin's Lamp. You rub the lamp and the Genie appears granting your wishes. This however is no fairy tale and the universal law works the same for everyone. Wicked is sharing this story with all of you today so that you too may find the peace and harmony that he has found by changing his way of thinking and bringing the desires of his heart into his life. [Fiction] Friday Challenge for May 9, 2008: This Week’s Theme: Voice of a Madman: Using first person narration, logically describe something that is crazy. Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) Wicked's Thoughts Insanity is such an unpleasant word even more unpleasant is the possibility that my mind has lost the ability to rationally comprehend these thoughts. I have questioned my sanity ever since my first encounter with Gabriel, a non-physical being who communicates to me telepathically in my mind. We all have thoughts, but when our thoughts aren't our own it makes us question where did that voice come from? We hear voices from our heart, telling us that something just doesn't feel right with our actions, whether what we're doing is right or wrong. My subconscious mind is constantly giving me feedback as to whether or not my thinking is correct or if I have wandered off into an area of deranged thinking. Sometimes the decisions that I make in my thinking are not as black and white as I would like and the mind becomes confused. Having a so called rational conversation with a voice that's only in my mind could lead others to question my mind's stability. My actions and behavior are what other people look at to determine my mental stability, but no one can tell what's going on in my mind. It becomes a question of who do I trust with the inner workings of my mind? I even question my own thoughts and rationale as to whether or not I have faith in my thoughts. My imagination runs wild with the thoughts of the unknown, because there's so much that the universe has to offer and most of it is beyond the comprehension of the normal mind. Scientists look at what can be proven in an experiment time and time again to determine if it is logical. The mysteries of the mind are not so easily proven in a laboratory experiment. Only now am I even starting to question the unlimited possibilities of my mind. Who knows what the ultimate capabilities of my mind will be in the future? The thought that if I believe I am sane only tells me that I am not looking at the alternative of insanity or madness! Thanks for Listening, Jeff

I am a Tree

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for May 2, 2008: This Week’s Theme: A Green Day: Write about a Tree. Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) I am a Tree I am not just any tree! I am the tree in Wicked's backyard, and to be more precise a silver maple tree. Like Rodney Dangerfield I feel like, "I don't get no respect". Do you know how ecologically precious I am? My favorite poem is "Trees" by Joyce Kilmer, and even Alfalfa of Our Gang knows about this poem as you can see by this video. I have deep roots in the community, and my branches spread wide so that my leaves can collect sunlight, and through the process of photosynthesis I give off the oxygen that you need to breathe. I feel fortunate to have my voice being heard today because my fellow brothers' and sisters' voices aren't being heard. It seems that every time the word progress is mentioned we trees are the ones that have to give our lives. Do you realize that you're only hurting yourselves and the ecosystem of the planet every time you kill a tree? I don't think that you do or you wouldn't keep doing it! I personally have been around for 89 years, you'll have to excuse for being so young, because some of us trees live to be 1000's of years old. I shake in my roots every time the Power Companies tree trimmers come to prune my branches. I worry that they're going to recommend that I be removed (or killed) for the sake of safety. I know the writing prompt for today said, "Write about a tree" but I thought you would like to hear what the tree itself had to say. Thanks for Listening, Jeff

The Hungry Ducks!

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for April 25, 2008: This Week’s Theme: What is a picture worth? Someone buys a dresser at a yard sale. When they get home there is a roll of film taped to the underside of one of the drawers. What happens next? Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) The Hungry Ducks! Wicked couldn't wait to get the film developed that he found taped to the underside of the drawer. He had all kinds of ideas as to what was on the film, was it private, personal, indecent and why was it taped to the bottom of the drawer? He was really surprised to find out that the pictures told a story, well at least in his mind they did, and that's what Wicked is going to share with us today. What is a picture worth? The first picture looks innocent enough with a few ducks standing around the open water looking for food or whatever they're doing in the picture: The second picture is pretty much the same thing as the first the ducks seem to be minding their own business. I wonder what's going to happen here because like the first picture there doesn't seem to be too much happening in this picture either. I wonder when the story is going to start. Wait a minute I think there's something happening here in this picture the ducks seem to be moving in one direction. It's like they're forming a line and marching like they're on some kind of a mission now! You can see the determination on their faces they're heading for something, but what is it? The whole time that Wicked is looking at the pictures he's wondering why was this roll of film taped to the bottom of that drawer, what's the big deal here...In this next picture the ducks are coming closer and closer towards the camera. The white duck looks like he's slamming on the brakes in a skid, like he's having second thoughts about continuing forward with the mission. These ducks seem fearless of the person that's taking the pictures. What's their intention as they march like a man on a mission into the face of the unknown? In this next picture the ducks look like they're in a huddle discussing their strategy and determining their next move. You guys go over that way and distract the photographer and we'll make our way around them and have the advantage over them, yeah that sounds like a plan to me. Don't start fighting amongst ourselves that's just what we don't need, let's keep it together now and remember the mission. If you guys don't stop fighting against each other we're never going to get what we came here for, remember the mission! I know we're all from different families, but we're one species, we are all ducks! Mission accomplished ducks now we can get back to the pond and continue on with what we were doing. Whatever that was, you know just being ducks and enjoying the day. That sure was a lot of fun having our pictures taken and making our presence known. I don't know about you but I thought that was great fun, and I feel like I am immortal now being captured on film for all to see. Those celebrities got nothing on us ducks that's for sure, we're as photogenic as they are any day of the week; don't you think? As the ducks fly off back to the open water and think about their mission to see what kind of food they could get from the photographer. They are content in knowing that they have achieved their mission, and they're proud of the fact that they didn't let fear stop them. The ducks got a meal from a total stranger and that's exactly what they wanted today. The only thing that Wicked could think of as to why the film was taped to the bottom of that drawer was, "Maybe there was a do not feed the ducks sign, and that's why the film was hidden!" Staring off into Space

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for April 18, 2008: This Week’s Theme: Just a Word: gongoozler Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) Staring off into Space Wicked had no Idea what being called a gongoozler meant, according to the dictionary the word is "an idle spectator, especially one who stares for a long time at something." Now being an idle spectator and staring at something for a long time seems like that definition could classify almost anyone as a gongoozler. If you were watching TV or reading a book it could be considered gongoozling. Daydreaming is something that Wicked spends many hours of his day doing, staring off into space pondering the many questions that have lingered in the minds of men/women for ages. For Wicked finding anything that can offer him contentment and satisfy his desire to keep his mind occupied and curios are a good thing. Does it really matter what it is that keeps a person's mind feeling entertained and that they enjoy staring at and watching? Whether you enjoy watching a sunset, gazing at the stars, bird watching, people watching or whatever you find that keeps you amused, it is wonderful to have ideal time. Isn't it amazing that everyone finds their own thing to gongoozle at and that keeps them fascinated in life! Thanks for Listening, Jeff

The Tax Man

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for April 11, 2008: This Week’s Theme: Money Troubles: In honor of tax day (at least here in the US) write about how your character handles a serious bout of financial troubles. Do they take a mistress? Run away? Do something crazy? Or buckle down? Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) The Tax Man Ah, the inevitable! Paying taxes and death, Wicked doesn't know which one he prefers most in life. Paying taxes comes at the same time every year, April 15th, but death is still a mystery, and as of this moment, it hasn't arrived. If you look at paying taxes as a right of passage, meaning you get to live, paying taxes isn't as bad as the other inevitable, death, which is in store for each of us in life. Who doesn't have money troubles? It seems that we can get along just fine without some things, but getting along without money isn't one of them. When you think about it: Our paying taxes is really a good thing if we have to pay our fair share, which means you made some money and the government only wants its fair share to spend on things that are only limited by your imagination. Wicked knows there's no running away from paying his fair share of taxes and doing something crazy is out of the question. So buckling down and facing reality seems like the logical answer to this question. All of that sounds rather mundane and boring, perhaps there is an alternative to the all of this nonsense...Wicked's pondering other possibilities. How about living in a land of make believe? A land of fairy tales...where your wildest dreams come true and you are only limited by what you can think of, surely it hasn't been so long that you have forgotten about living in a land of make believe. What a glorious place this is, having your heart being content by just pretending that the worlds a wonderful place, you can feel the wonderment that such a place offers. Anything that pleases you is there in your mind, if only you believe that it exists. We have let life take away the very thing that is most precious to us, our imagination! Can you see the world of your dreams? Can you feel the excitement of the endless possibilities of your imagination? Well that was fun, but Wicked has to get back to figuring out his taxes now, or does he? Thanks for Listening, Jeff

Wicked quit Flying!

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for April 4, 2008: This Week’s Theme: Give Up: Describe a time your character gave up; and how it affected them for the rest of their life. Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) Wicked quit Flying! Wicked has many hopes, dreams and ambitions for his life, but some how he has let them slip through his fingers. It is to the point of Wicked feeling like he is given up on perusing what his heart is telling him that he wants to achieve in life. The childhood wishes he once had are all but just a memory as the war on reality has all but defeated him. As Wicked struggle through life finding out that reality would be his worst enemy, it hasn't stopped him from at least trying to pursue his dreams. When he decided to give college a try, because he knew life was passing him by, and his imagination of how his life would be wasn't going to get him anywhere. Wicked searched his soul to find out what his major would be in college. After looking at all the courses and trying to match the possibilities of what he thought his life would be, he chose aviation as his hearts desire. Wicked thought he was going to need to get around quickly and flying seemed like the way to do just that. His dream was he was going to be some kind of entrepreneur, but he hadn't really put all the pieces of that dream together very well. Learning to fly was exactly what Wicked had hoped it would be, it was exciting, it was adventurous and being in the air was like being closer to God. It was also very expensive, and running up the tab on student loans was like digging himself in a hole that he couldn't see any escape from. Wicked did obtain his private pilots license, but he didn't graduate from college. It was to him an enlightening realization though, in that he achieved something that was only a dream. Giving up on flying was more than just giving up on a dream, it was a realization that just because you think something should be a certain way, doesn't make it a reality. Wicked would spend the next seven years working hard to pay for living his dream. Thanks for Listening, Jeff

Wicked wronged by Life!

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for March 28, 2008: This Week’s Theme: Long Memory: Describe a time your character was wronged; even though it was insignificant to the one who wronged them, your character never got over it. Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) Wicked wronged by Life! Wicked feels like he has been wronged by life...He has struggled through many hardships that he cannot understand, why? As a young boy he had the most fascinating images of what he thought his life would be like, but he's in his early forties now, and is bewilder by the reality of what his life has been. Surely there are others of you out there who have felt life has passed you by? Whether it is you haven't achieved all your hopes and dreams, or by some twist of fate you haven't fulfilled your destiny, in some ways. Wicked understands to life this is really an insignificant outcome in the greater scheme of the universe and all that is or ever will be. But yet he finds himself troubled by his inability to have made a difference in the world. Maybe it's just him? Some flaw in his DNA...a gene perhaps, which has left him with these agonizing types of thoughts. Ever so often Wicked will see a glimmer of hope in the futility in his life, like when he met Faith. His encounters with Gabriel have given him enlightenment in the everlasting life after our short period on earth. Does Wicked think that life has even given a second thought to the way he feels or even knows he feels wronged by what the universe has destined him to be and accomplish in his life? Such things are not even to be pondered by men such as he, it is with purpose and integrity Wicked should face each day and not with malaise of what should be. Wicked has never gotten over what he thinks his life should be, maybe it's time for him to face reality and accept his life as it is, not as he thinks it should be in his mind. Life has a way of making every day a hardship if you let it, life is just moving forward Wicked's thinking, Maybe I should just move forward too! Thanks for Listening, Jeff

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for March 21, 2008: This Week’s Theme: Quick List: Have your character give 13 reasons why they should learn a new language. Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) Wicked's Language of the Mind! The language Wicked wants to learn is the one that Gabriel uses to communicate with him telepathically or by thoughts in one's mind. It is also referred to as; this is from Wikipedia: Empathy; Precognition; Parapsychology; Psychokinesis; Magnetoencephalography; Neural oscillations; Extended mind; Clairvoyance; Mentalist; Clever Hans; Body language or kinesics; Rupert Sheldrake: morphic resonance Think of the endless possibilities of learning this new language: You wouldn't have to learn all the different languages of the World because they would be translated in your mind. There would never be any secrets kept in one's mind because of this new language that you have learned and can now know what someone's really thinking. Scientists say we only use a small portion of our brain maybe this new language would open up the keys to the Universe of wisdom and knowledge, which would make us use more of our brains capacity. It would mean we would have to have more control over our thoughts because everyone who knew this new language would be able to hear what we were thinking. Just think of the savings in phone calls alone this new language would give us, it could put AT&T out of business or maybe they would have to change their business to maybe storing our thoughts. There would have to be some way to control this new language, think of the noise of all the souls of eternity talking all at once, it would be enough to drive a person insane. Just thinking about this new language has brought both curiosity and fear to mind, maybe that's why only a chosen few are actually able to use it. There are so many unanswered questions regarding the mind, the Universe and the unknown. Wicked was just saying, "On second thought maybe it would be better if I just increased my vocabulary in English and learned how to write, yeah! That sounds like a much better idea, don't you think? Angel's pet Panda

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for March 14, 2008: This Week’s Theme: Friend or Foe? Backstory: Tell about your characters feelings toward animals, and why she feels that way. Angel's pet "Panda" Angel talks to Panda like this animal is a person, but this isn't really strange, because a lot of people feel the same way about their pets and talk to their animals. What is strange is how Panda's pedigree has changed the way that Angel looks at all animals like they can communicate with her. This all started when Angel ordered Panda (a Cocker Spaniel) over the Internet. The lady who was selling the dogs actually delivered Panda right to Angel's house with the ancestry record to prove her pedigree. Angel thought it was very peculiar that the breed registry papers had the male side of Panda's purebred with the name Chewbacca (as in Star Wars) and she would soon find out why. To say that pets have a personality wouldn't be unusual to anyone who owns and loves animals. Like people; pets and animals each have their own identities, traits and behaviors. Angel started noticing how Panda would sort of whine, bark and howl all at different levels and tones when she would speak. Almost like the dog was trying to communicate her thoughts to Angel, not that Angel thinks the dog is really saying something, but if you have ever seen Star Wars and heard Chewbacca speak you would know what this means of communication would sound like. There is no way to actually write what the sound is like, if a picture is worth a thousand words, what's a sound clip to listen to worth? Sound Clip: Panda's Voice Thanks for listening, Jeff

[Fiction] Friday Challenge for March 7, 2008: This Week’s Theme: More than a Spark: Start your entry with a fire. Previous Wicked Stories (I) (II) Wicked's Desire! Desire is more than a spark it is a blaze of passion. Can you feel the heat from this spark that has turned into a blazing inferno of fire? Desires that make your heart burn for what you want out of life aren't easy to extinguish. Like having a zest for life is one way to make you realize how dangerous this fire of desire can be. There was more than a spark of desire for the passion of life that had Wicked yearning to be consumed by this fire called life. Can you feel the heat? What is it going to take to ignite your desire? your passion for life? an inferno? Wicked's desire to know, to learn and to discover his passions in life have led him on a quest to find out about the unknown. The mystical way that things happen that we often take for granted and associate with coincidence, chance or as an every day happenstance. But there's more than that happening in our lives on a daily basis if we just take a moment to observe and see the wondrous phenomena that are taking place in our life. In conclusion there's just one question that must be asked, "Does anyone have a fire extinguisher?" Thanks for Listening, Jeff
