Yesterday was our first “Ozone Action Day” in the Detroit area, here in southeastern Michigan, and does the question, “Is it Hot enough for you?” mean anything to you! It sure was hot enough for me yesterday and today’s plenty hot too…It is really hard to think of global warming when the temperatures around here are hovering around 0º in the wintertime season. But this being the first week of the summertime season and the temperature already in the 90ºs. It really gets me thinking about whether or not this fictional story from ABC News in Earth 2100 might just hold some truth!

I really don’t know much of anything about the ozone so I thought I’d try and write a few words about my thoughts on planet Earth’s life. I watched this YouTube video movie titled Home, and I’m a Christian, so I don’t believe that life on earth evolved from amoebae. But I thought the movie was very educational as to where humanity is heading by how the plant is being treated, the movie is rather long, but the photography is great. Who can predict the future? Scientists only understand science and they tell us what they think…Who can even fathom the mind of God?

Well, I’ve digressed as I usual do from my title today, but I feel like I’ve accomplished getting my writing practice done. Like I said, “I don’t know much about the ozone or anything else about what is happening here on plant earth.” But it was fun to share a few of my thoughts today with all of you about Ozone Action Days, and I’m sure that I’ll have more opportunities: As it seems to be just the beginning of one hot summer!
