The reason I don’t like “Making New Year’s Resolutions” is because of the failure rate of people who make them…But the New Challenge posted by Marcus has me writing about mine today. In the Clubhouse Challenge Marcus said, “Tell us about any resolutions you’ve made and how Windows Live might help you with them.” Although my commitment to write something every day in my Windows Live Blog wasn’t a new year resolution it is something that I want to continue doing every day. I could go on and on about all my resolutions, goals, wishes, prayers, hopes and dreams that I’ve written about at my site hoping to accomplish them all.
The Windows Live products and services have really helped me to make all my dreams come true…I would recommend them to anyone that’s trying to “Learn Something New” about computers, software, writing, photos, life, friendships, psychology or just about anything that you want to study, learn, experience in your life. I have so many goals/resolutions that I’m trying to achieve every day that I really just like to make my resolutions almost intangible like: To Enjoy Life!
I read this article Resolutions: You’ve Made Them, But How To Keep Them? And I really liked what it had to say, especially this part: “Don’t let yourself quit. Even if you slip up once or twice, you shouldn’t abandon your resolution.” It reminded me of something that I wrote from this post Happy New Year! and my Goals/Resolutions for 2008 I said, “To never give up!” And there are so may different kinds of resolutions that you can make and write down in your Blog like my theme for writing this year is Writing just to Write! To give you an idea of what I’m talking about read My Writing Goals the first one is:
“Don’t take Writing/Blogging too seriously, have fun!”
Also I have 100’s if not 1,000’s of pictures that I want to scan and digitize to post in my Photo Albums this year as a resolution/goal like these Tapestry of Nations Epcot Parade. I know the quality of the photos isn’t that great, but I feel like sharing them with all of you is much better than having the pictures stuck in a photo album that no one will ever see. So my New Year’s Resolutions are posted in my Windows Live site Blog all the time. You don’t have to wait until New Year’s Day to make resolutions!
Have a Great Day and Enjoy Life!

Great post, Jeff. Thank you. I agree that resolutions don\’t have to be made only when the calendar year changes. It\’s important to set goals all year long. The ones you list above — writing and scanning/sharing photos — are two excellent examples of things that can be on-going goals and not just one time resolutions.Best regards,Marcus
