    Say It On Saturday!

Write Stuff I can't believe I did that; "Say It On Saturday" at the Write Stuff, but I did, and I just have to record it with this entry. I published this entry: The Writers Strike and in the comments Karen said, "Thanks for posting, Jeff!" Here's my comment:

You are quite Welcome Karen; Thank you for allowing me the chance to post it on the Write Stuff. I didn’t know whether I should post this on your site or not, because it’s kind of controversial. I sent you an Email regarding that, and when I didn’t hear back from you I just decided to post it, and see what happens.

For some reason, I am just so nervous about posting something that I can’t delete or can I? I just think that it was a lot of fun doing it, to say the least! Thanks again for making my Saturday a little different than usual; I found doing this quite exciting!

    Enjoy Life!

    I think that this is

I think that this is a great idea and can't figure out why I am the only one that has posted anything. I think a settlement in the Writer's Strike is long overdue, and evidently they aren't asking for that much, because David Letterman and other independent networks, have signed a contract with the writers. I don't know about you, but I am tired of repeats and I just want the writers to get a fair settlement. It's like the networks are being childish and taking their ball home with them, so we can't play and watch any new shows on T.V.

    New Subject: Save The Internet!

I started a new group at the Experience Project today called I Want to Save the Internet, because I feel that it's important to spread the word, if we want to keep Network Neutrality. It just seems so unfair that the little guy's always the one that has to pay more for something to line big corporations' pockets. I think that's a very negative statement, Save the Internet: Click herebut it's true; no one's going to standup us if we don't standup for ourselves. It's what being an American is all about: If we wait until something's standing at our door, it could be too late to late to defend ourselves against it, we must be vigilant all the time. Who knows what the next infringement of our rights may be?

I am sorry, I can feel myself getting sucked into a negative way of thinking, at this very moment, and I don't like to feel this way. The thing of it is if you don't speak your mind, and you keep letting things that bother you, festering in your mind, you're not going to be able to live with yourself. Believe me when I tell you this; because it comes from a lot of heart ache from doing this very thing. I have forced myself to try and write something everyday, (at the expense of looking like a goof) and I have enjoyed the benefits of doing just that. I want to have a positive attitude just as much as the next guy, but I can't see doing that and burying my head in the sand, either!

    Thanks for Listening,

           Jeff

I don’t think it was bravery that was encouraging me to post something on the Write Stuff today, but I really appreciate you saying that. I think it was the challenge to try something new, which was ever present in my mind, and I had already posted what I had said, so it was just for the experience.

I thought that it was a great idea to have a Say It On Saturday, and I was so disappointed that more people did join in with the idea; it would have made it a lot more exciting.

    Enjoy Life!

Well, someone had to be brave enough to step up to the plate and be the first to try out Say It On Saturday - glad to see you rose to the challenge Jeff, and with an issue that doesn't get as much coverage in the media as it should!

    Keep it up.
